Cyberworlds are information spaces and communities that immensely augment the way we interact, participate in business and receive information throughout the world. Cyberworlds seriously impact our lives and the evolution of the world economy by taking such forms as social networking services, 3D shared virtual communities and massively multiplayer online role-playing games.
CW2019 is a 3 day international scientific conference held in Kyoto on 2 – 4 October 2019.

ABOUT KYOTO

Kyoto is one of the most popular cities for tourism in the world. Kyoto served as Japan's capital and the emperor's residence from 794 until 1868. This is why Kyoto is cultural and historial heart of the country. There are 17 UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites around Kyoto, and you can visit them easily from the venue. You can also easily access Downtown Kyoto for several cultural sites and nice Japanese cuisines. The city offers you endless opportunities to gain meaningful experience of Kyoto culture through tea ceremony, sake brewing, kimono wearing, and more.

We don’t have block reservations of the hotel rooms because it is cheaper and easier to use a hotel booking site online. However, due to a rapid growth of tourism in recent years in Japan, it may be quite difficult to book a hotel in Kyoto just before the conference.
